Conference honors for girls basketball were announced on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 and senior Ramsey Cureton has been named Conference Co-Player of the Year and Coach Kendall Ham is the Conference Coach of the Year.
Ramsey is a 4-year varsity player who recently surpassed the 1,000 point mark. During her JPII career, she was named all-conference her freshman, sophomore, and junior years and was named to the NCISAA All-State team last year.Â
Coach Ham’s record over his two years at JPII is 44-9 including a trip to last year’s 3A state semifinals and led this year’s team to the conference regular season championship and conference tournament championship.
