Gauquie’s 7-point performance plummets Parrott

The lacrosse team found their second victory against Arendell Parrott Academy Monday night. The match was controlled by the Saints all game.

What Happened

The Saints took charge early in the first quarter after a pair of goals by Britt Gauquie and took a 2-0 lead going into the 2nd quarter.

In the 2nd, the Saints were able to add four additional goals. Two goals came by way of Britt Gauquie (both assisted by Will Fawcett), another from Thomas Keeter (assist from Britt Gauquie), and the fourth from Will Fawcett.

In the 3rd quarter, the Saints were able to hit the back of the net twice more by way of Britt Gauquie. The game ended in the 3rd quarter at the 5:18 mark, and the teams did not play the 4th quarter.

In goal for the Saints was junior Bryce Keel, who ended the game with 25 minutes played, 3 saves, and recorded the Saints first career shutout.
