In 2023, Danielle Muñoz joined JPII as our 10th grade English teacher. Today, we are excited to announce that she has agreed to become the head coach of the Saints volleyball program.
Muñoz has 16 years of coaching experience, ranging from 12s to 17s. She has coached with the East Carolina Junior Volleyball Club since 2009. Over the years her teams have earned numerous tournament and regional division championships. In addition to coaching, she has served as the Club’s assistant director and Director of Coach Development.
In 2015, as head coach of Farmville Central, Muñoz’s led the Jaguars to a share of the conference championship. The following year they were the outright champions and made it to the 4th round of the state playoffs. As a result, she was named conference Coach of the Year.
