Strong start leads to 1st win of the season for lacrosse

Lacrosse scored five goals in the first half against the Demons of Wilson Fike High School on Thursday night, took a four-goal lead into halftime, and eventually won 7-4.

The Saints started the scoring on the night, tallying in the first four goals of the game. The Wilson Fike Demons scored a goal of their own in the second quarter; however, the Saints netted an additional goal before half to take the lead 5-1.

The second half was a much closer contest, with the Saints netting two goals to the Demons’ three goals, with a final score of 7-4.
